Altro Paradiso, opened in 2016 by chef and owner Ignacio Mattos, is inspired by the flavors, textures and warmth of Italian food and wine traditions. Located on a sunny corner across from Hudson Square, it takes cues from classic European bistros and New York’s neighborhood institutions.
Altro Paradiso is currently seeking Servers that share our passion for its cuisine, embrace a team-oriented style of service and are able to balance the nuanced demands of this dynamic position.
Our menu features insightfully executed interpretations of regional Italian dishes. Our wine program is Italian-focused with approximately 250 selections plus a full bar serving both classic and house specialty cocktails, craft beers and an array of aperitivi, amari and other spirits. Applicants must be highly motivated team players with strong knowledge and interest in food and beverage and must have a positive attitude to excel in this fun, fast-paced and convivial atmosphere.
2+ Years Experience in a New York City Restaurant or similar caliber
Experience working in either a fine dining or casual fine dining restaurant in New York City
Passionate and knowledgeable about food, wine, beer & spirits
Ability to learn quickly
Driven, hardworking and enthusiastic
Positive attitude and customer-service oriented
Good communication skills
Desire to work in a collaborative environment
