Performing a variety of food preparation duties while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. Coordinating with the cafe team to ensure food products are being produced efficiently while not compromising quality. Reports directly to the Cafe Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties:
● Preparing all food menu items such as breakfast bowls, sandwiches, flatbreads, etc.
● Preparing ingredients for recipes such as slicing deli meats, vegetables, etc.
● Preparing the workstation with required equipment and ingredients needed to ensure productive workflow.
● Working effectively with the cafe team, and complying with company procedures and food safety policies.
● Keeping workstation, utensils, equipment, etc. clean and sanitary.
● Overseeing food levels and restocking items on time.
● Establishing stock levels at end of shift and capturing information on standardized stock sheets.
● Coordinate with vendors and the Cafe Manager to order supplies and food ingredients.
● Ensuring ingredients are tagged, date-labeled, covered, stored and rotated effectively.
● Removing trash and clearing storage bins.
● Clean all dishes.
