Pub & Kitchen is an authentic neighborhood tavern located on the corner of 20th and Lombard in Philadelphia. For well over a decade, we've served a menu featuring elevated farm to table offerings, alongside an innovative bar program specializing in wine, local beers, and craft cocktails. Our menu is constantly evolving, fluctuating with the seasons.
We are looking to add an experienced and hardworking General Manager to our team. We are looking for a passionate hospitality professional to support the Director of Operations and to provide leadership to the Front of House team. We are a local tavern that has a dedicated community of customer that are always held high on our list and will be one for your leading priorities.
To be successful in this role, you'll need management skills and experience in front house operations as well as an understanding of back of the house operations. You will need to know how to oversee the dining room, manage and assist staff, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity in order to assist with the successful flow of the restaurant.
Qualified candidates should have but are not limited to:
- Experience managing a fast-paced dining room/bar
- Understand the demands of the restaurant industry
- Passion for great fare and amazing service
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage
- Excellent communication skills
- Personable and professional demeanor
- Strong work ethic and leadership skills
- Experience with OpenTable and Toast
