We are looking to staff part-time Hosts for our newly opened upscale Mexican concept restaurant in the heart of downtown Walnut Creek.
Job Requirements:
Experience and ability to help open a new concept dedicated to friendly "upscale casual" fast-paced service while allowing our guests to enjoy some incredible food and drinks. Bartenders will have a minimum of basic cocktail knowledge and excel in mezcal and tequila. Bartenders will be serving the bartop as well as executing drinks for servers, and if need be, may need to take a small section when the bartop is slow. Able to work together as a team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean restaurant and able to keep things stocked and organized on off times
- Execute opening and closing procedures
- Take orders, and have full menu knowledge to answer bar and food questions
- Bar knowledge

Qualifications:
- Mexican food and bar knowledge is desirable, not required
- Commitment to high guest service
- Able to work in a fast paced environment, think openly about the success of the entire restaurant
- Attention to detail, cleanliness
- Team mentality
- Toast POS knowledge is desirable, not required

- Regular and consistent on-site attendance.

- Continuous physical activity including frequent walking, standing, twisting, sitting, bending, lifting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, crawling, wiping, climbing, and occasionally pushing and pulling items weighing 50 pounds for distances of up to 20 ft.;
- Ability to perform moderately strenuous physical work and withstand temperatures of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or less and 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more;
- Be able to adeptly use restaurant equipment;
