Culinary Admin
The Culinary Admin’s primary purpose is to provide administrative & culinary support to
Chef Christopher Kostow and his team at The Charter Oak.
This position plays a vital part in the smooth running of The Charter Oak and Team Kostow
not only from a kitchen perspective, but involvement in the coordination and implementation of
office procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
TCO
Recruitment
Review and filter BOH resumes
Schedule BOH facetime/in-person interviews
Schedule BOH stages
Arrange & coordinate BOH hires
Arrange & coordinate BOH visas
Recipes
Maintain Recipe Database
Format new recipes
Help source old recipes for Chefs’ use
Events
Assist TCO events team with any Culinary related offsite event needs: equipment rentals, shipping, additional logisistics
Assist with events execution as needed
Generating and submitting post-event invoices
coordinating with visiting guest chefs (Potluck, etc) on recipes, travel, additional logistics
Maintenance
Scheduling & coordinating kitchen maintenance, equipment maintenance, and
repairs for TCO kitchen
Sourcing of equipment, tools, platewares
LOVESKI
Events
Assist with Loveski events- working with event sales team to coordinate logistics and assisting with execution as needed
Assist in store as needed for large orders
Financials
Assist with maintaining the food costing spreadsheet (ongoing monitoring cost of products)
Maintenance
Scheduling & coordinating kitchen maintenance, equipment maintenance, and
repairs
Sourcing of equipment, tools, platewares
TEAM KOSTOW/TRAM/Miscellaneous
Assisting with booking travel for Chef Kostow and relevant team members for national and international events
Assist with logistics of events—coordinating with host restaurant/venues; post event invoicing
For new projects- Sourcing of items- OSE, Tools, Equipment, Uniforms
