BRUTO of Id Est Hospitality Group is hiring line cooks who are well-versed in culinary trends! At least 1 year of prior culinary experience is required to be considered for this role.

Highlights of Bruto’s Culinary & Bar Program:

  • Seasonality of ingredients for our menus. Working with local farmers to create a cohesive bar menu to support and highlight local producers. 
  • Fermentation-driven N/A and Mixed Beverage program. Working closely with the culinary team to create a cohesive menu for our guests. 
  • Agave-driven bar program focusing on agaves from different regions in Mexico and Latin America. Working with small batch producers to support small family-owned agave companies that are sustainable in their practices. 
  • We take pride in holding ourselves to the highest standards to create an unforgettable experience for our guests and holding ourselves accountable to be the version of ourselves we can be. 

Line Cooks are responsible for activities including, but not limited to:

  • Providing warm, hospitable service to guests
  • Following instructions and protocols as defined by Restaurant Leaders
  • Ensuring proper restaurant set up and break down for each shift
  • Maintaining education standards on menus that change seasonally
  • Ensuring restaurant cleanliness and organization at all times
  • Supporting fellow team members in tasks associated with each shift

The ideal candidates fit the following criteria:

  • 1 yrs+ of prior culinary experience
  • Wide variety of culinary-related knowledge, related to techniques and flavors 
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about culinary trends
  • A zero waste and ingredient cross-utilization mindset
  • Excellent understanding of hospitality etiquette
  • Ability to understand and execute proper steps of service
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to fast-paced environments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
