THE RESTAURANT

Xiquet (chee-KETT) by international award-winning Chef Danny Lledó joined the select ranks of MICHELIN Star restaurants in DC in 2021, just one year after first welcoming guests to the intimate dining room in Glover Park. Xiquet is now known as one of the best fine dining restaurants in Washington DC for its modern Spanish cuisine that showcases the finest products from around the world, served with warm, Mediterranean hospitality. The sought-after tasting menu experience showcases innovative preparations of the traditional cuisine of Valencia, ignited by a wood-fire kitchen where Chef Danny creates dishes to order using the finest products sourced both locally and internationally. The flavors of Valencia reflect the region’s warm coastal climate, abundant agriculture, and plentiful fresh seafood. It is also the cradle of the famed Spanish rice dish, Paella.

THE POSITION

We are searching for the perfect person to fit our small team. The right person is friendly, hospitable, positive and enthusiastic, to name a few. The role will entail taking charge of the guest experience from when they make the reservation, to when they arrive at the restaurant. Seeking out any and all information that will allow us to give a personalized experience to all guests. Must be an agent of hospitality over the phone and a welcoming face at the door.

Must be very detailed oriented, have the ability to take direction, work in a team environment and handle pressure like an expert. The right candidate will be an excellent problem solver, be organized and self motivated.

THE SCHEDULE

Xiquet by Danny Lledo and Slate Wine Bar are open Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm to 10pm. An example of the work schedule for this position is Tuesday to Saturday 1pm to 9:30pm.

Compensation: Hourly ($19.00 - $23.00)
