La Devozione is a fine-dining  pasta & cocktail bar located in the iconic Chelsea Market. Established by Pastificio Di Martino, a family-owned business since 1912, producers of high-quality pasta from Gragnano Italy. Founded by CEO & President Giuseppe Di Martino’s family, Pastificio Di Martino is one of the world’s largest exporters of dry pasta, producing over 280 shapes and 12 million portions of pasta a day in the small, coastal Italian town of Gragnano, just 45 minutes south of Naples. All of their pasta, from organic to whole wheat, is prepared via centuries-old traditional production methods before being packaged in their signature vibrant colors and shipped around the globe to people in over 70 countries.

We are looking for enthusiastic hospitality professionals who thrive in an environment of accountability and collaboration, to join our service team. We are looking for passionated and experienced servers, assistant servers, kitchen servers, with at least 2 years of serving experience (ideally high volume) to join our dinning room team. Our team is committed  to learn and grow together professionally. We train every one in our team thoroughly to succeed in their roles.

Requirements

Strong communication skills
Good working knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and non–alcoholic beverages is a plus. But not a must. We will provide you if all the necessary knowledge to succeed in this position

Service Responsibilities:

Be friendly, knowledgeable and noticeably appreciative
Accommodate guests by making each individual feel welcome
Provide friendly, knowledgeable, attentive wine service for our guests
Act professional and accommodating and always maintain composure
Implement and follow steps of service
Be collaborative and participate in service education sessions and  in all aspects of service
