Responsibilities:

  • Assist Chef Palmer & the Executive Chef to maintain kitchen organization and creative menu development
  • Ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking
  • Provide guidance to the kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating
  • Ordering supplies to stock inventory appropriately
  • Train new kitchen employees to restaurant and kitchen standards
  • Manage food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and manage budgetary concerns
  • Ensure the kitchen and production areas are clean and maintained at highest safety standards
  • Manage food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a qualified kitchen
  • A passion for hospitality, food and beverage, and the guest experience
  • Ability to read and follow recipes and standards
  • Strong organizational & creative problem-solving skills
  • The ability to comfortably lead a team in a busy atmosphere
  • Creative & Team oriented
  • Fine Dining experience a plus

Compensation: Salary ($70.00 - $75.00)
