Pizzeria Mozza is hiring a floor manager.
The FOH Manager will work with the General Manager and the rest of the Mozza team to ensure that the restaurant is operating up to standards set by Nancy Silverton and Joe Bastianich.
Job description & Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing managerial duties for both lunch and dinner service
-duties include but are not limited to: cash handling, scheduling, administrative tasks and computer literacy
- Clear communication skills: verbal and written with both FOH and BOH
- The ability to guide staff, teach and enforce service standards
- Understand policies, procedures and Mozza standards
- Ability to fill in where needed on floor to ensure postive guest experience and effecient service operations.
- Consistant and exellent attention to detail, work ethic and team player
- Ensure that guests have a great experience from start to finish.
Expectations and working conditions:
- Flexible availability: Work schedule may involve working weekends, holidays, mornings and evenings.
- Shift duration is anywhere between 6-10hrs.
- Must have ability to work long stretches with minimal downtime
- Represent Mozza in a professional manner towards guests, vendors, staff & neighbors
- Ability to act in a professional and calm manner in all types of situations
Applicant should have a passion for food, beverage and hospitality. High standards, hustle, punctuality and attention to detail are a must.
Food handler's Manager Certification and ABS Beverage Certification required upon hiring.
