BARTENDER
POSITION SUMMARY

The bartender is responsible for selling, preparing, and serving food and beverage.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to produce drinks in a timely manner using a jigger and following house cocktail recipes
- Understand and perform job duties to the expectations
- Greet each guest promptly, courteously, and graciously with a smile
- Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus
- Deliver exceptional service consistently and anticipate guests’ needs
- Operate ethically to protect the image of the company
- Maintain a good working relationship with others by promoting teamwork and fostering a harmonious working climate
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience required
- Must have a strong sense of urgency
- Must be conscious of physical presentation, meticulous to detail, and clean work habits
- Possess the ability to multitask with a calm demeanor and be able to maintain order under pressure
- Embody a warm and engaging personality with poise and elegance
- Be professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual
- Be self-disciplined, show initiative, and demonstrate high degree of drive and determination
- Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic with the mentality of a team player
- Full-time flexible hours are required (able to work breakfast, late nights, weekends, holidays)

- Complete side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard

- Take orders from guests, serve beverages to tables, and clear dishes from tables

- Maintain a clean, safe environment in the dining room and all service stations
- Complete opening and closing side-work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard
- Welcome all guests and ensure guests receive approachable and gracious services at all times
- Deliver excellent service consistently
- Maintain a good working relationship with others by promoting teamwork and fostering a harmonious working environment

SUPPORT STAFF
POSITION SUMMARY
The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for hospitality, high energy, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. The Café Deux team is determined to provide guests with a unique experience. Support Staff will support all operations behind the bar, on the kitchen expo line and with general maintenance of the venue.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bar set up, maintenance and breakdown
- Kitchen expo set up, maintenance and breakdown
- Able to multitask and communicate with coworkers while under pressure
- Greet each guest promptly, courteously, and graciously with a smile
- Wash and polish all glassware, silverware, plates, and bar tools
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus
- Assist bartenders and servers throughout service
- Deliver exceptional service consistently and anticipate guests’ needs
- Maintain a good working relationship with others by promoting teamwork and fostering a harmonious working climate
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Must have a strong sense of urgency
- Must have busser and runner experience
- Able to carry 3 plates of food at once as well as cocktail trays
- Knowledge of table etiquette (position numbers, table numbers, etc.)
- Must be conscious of physical presentation, meticulous to detail, and clean work habits
