Overview of Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage our brands’ social media strategy;
- Build and maintain a posting schedule for all channels;
- Create content and storytelling (image, video, copy) that is creative and thoughtful, and aligns with our business goals;
- Perform community management by replying to comments and DMs, plus crisis communications;
- Strategize and execute social campaigns, Facebook and Instagram marketing, and paid search;
- Write and update any website or marketing copy, along with our bi-monthly newsletters;
- Grow our social engagement and newsletter subscriber list, as defined by quarterly KPIs;
- Act as the direct point of contact with external PR agencies, including managing all incoming media inquiries and interview/photo requests
- Work with external partners and PR agencies for our print, broadcast, and online media
- Track and report social performance and media placements on a monthly and quarterly basis;
- Cultivate partnerships with influencers and key members of our community;
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization for social and our websites;
- Stay up-to-date on best practices to make sure we’re at the top of our game, providing insights and trends to inspire forward-thinking;
- Reporting to the COO and working closely alongside the Creative Director.
Requirements:
- Fluency in all social channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn;
- 5+ years’ experience managing social strategy and execution – experience in luxury, hospitality, DTC or e-commerce a strong plus;
- Excellent copywriting skills;
- Real-world experience in content management, and writing and building engaging newsletters;
- Experience strategizing and executing paid search and Instagram and Facebook advertising;
- Proven ability to engage and build an audience with content across multiple channels;
- Excellent understanding of social media best practices;
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics;
- An enthusiastic self-starter, able to work independently on multiple projects and last-minute requests.
- Have a flexible mindset, able to manage deadlines and workload in a high-energy environment;
- Have an appreciation for food and drive, hospitality, modern luxury, and creativity.
