Oversight of Baker’s Daughter inside the Eaton Hotel in Washington, DC. This position will take a hands-on approach with daily operations and implementation of SOPs, as well as working administratively on holiday and other promotions, onboarding and training, and cost control.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Daily operations of the restaurant including pre-shift prep
- Cost control: labor, paper goods, and supporting with food cost
- Lead communication with individual unit requisition forms from commissary kitchen
- Ordering and cost maintenance for paper goods
- Oversight of all N/A Beverage ordering and preparation; equipment maintenance
- Maintenance of online ordering platforms
- Scheduling FOH team for all units
- Train and Manage the productivity of Shift Leaders
- Training and oversight of cash handling
- Managing Monthly Inventory for all units
- Unit organization and cleanliness
- Sales growth
- Hiring for FOH employees and Onboarding for all new hires
- Development and Training of all FOH employees
- Cultivating positive guest experiences
- Develop and maintain relationships with regular guests
- Manage promotions and holiday packages: promotional materials
- Manage website accuracy and features
- Attend department head meetings
- Assist with cross-promotional events with other 101 Hospitality units
- Supporting the rest of the 101 Hospitality team as needed
- Additional tasks or duties as needed by restaurant demands
