We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, hands-on, task-driven, detail-
orientated & dedicated in order to provide a consistently outstanding service experience.
You must be passionate about great wine, spirits and hospitality. The ability to lead and motivate staff is essential for this position. We are an well-established farm-to-table restaurant with a non-corporate structure and friendly environment located in Midtown West.
Manhattan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee customer experience and guest satisfaction.
• Observe and solicit customer feedback via client interactions and online reviews.
• Resolve service quality complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, evaluate, and provide open communication with
staff.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings on a daily basis.
• Directly oversee all Front-of-House service during operations including, but not
limited to service staff, reservationists, hosts and maître d’.
• Maintain an on-going training program for existing staff; keep manuals updated.
• Preparation of department staffing schedules in accordance with staffing
guidelines.
• Participation in weekly Managers’ meetings and other staff meetings as
scheduled.
• Work with Sales department to coordinate private events.
• Drive sales and develop cost savings strategies to increase profits and effectively
manage labor and direct operating expenses.
• Adhere to NYC DOH standards for sanitation and maintain the current "A" rating.
• Maintain high standards of quality control and health and safety.
• Work with management to improve and expand the existing beverage program.

• Proficient with computers, preferrably experienced with Toast, OpenTable, Avero and has worked on Apple iOS platforms.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 1 year of experience in a full-service establishment (preferably in Manhattan).
• Strong leadership skills: must practice and understand motivational management techniques.
• Must have ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team.
• Must be able to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
This position is accompanied by a competitive salary and benefits package. Average work week is 45 hours with two days off.
