Luxury Hotel

Part of San Francisco Proper Hotel

Guests, neighbors and modern bon vivants make every meal and cocktail an occasion in our three inspired, diverse settings, including Eater SF’s “Restaurant of the Year.” At your pleasure, morning cappuccinos, leisurely work lunches, and rooftop nightcaps with majestic views await.

Villon
A sophisticated gathering point for dynamic Mid-Market, Villon is dressed in Kelly Wearstler’s award-winning, dramatic design influenced by pre-Modernist styles. Here, chef Jason Fox's hyper-seasonal menu reflects twists on S.F.’s culinary culture and bounty. In our art-filled lobby salon, don’t miss an original libation from BVHospitality’s “7×7” cocktail anthology, in homage to San Francisco’s seven-by-seven-mile area.

Charmaine's
Welcome to a most uncommon social playground: Charmaine’s rooftop. At this greenery-laced experience of California’s indoor/outdoor lifestyle, sip original cocktails in the living room, gather around the fire pits and sculptural tables on the patio, view the panorama from the deck…all while sky-high over Market Street.

La Bande
Get into the rhythms of the neighborhood at La Bande, our “new fashioned” cafe and market. In the light-strewn space encased in green glazed tiles and black-and-white stripes, Counter Culture cappuccinos are always poured right, and house-made hand pies and tartines beckon from the pastry case. In the evening, drop by for curated provisions and a bottle of Napa red to go, or savor a craft beer as you mingle with friends old and new around communal tables.
