Job Details

We are seeking a Beverage Director! As our Beverage Director you will be responsible for cultivating the culture of our two craft bars and coffee shop.

  • Curates a world class, diverse product mix consisting of accessible, sales driven, crowd pleasing drinks that are upscale and artistic. 
  • Trains and educates bartenders, baristas, and cocktail servers on guest interaction, products we carry including taste, execution & price. 
  • Ensures that liquor is served in a responsible manner at all times, and inappropriate behavior is corrected or customers are removed.
  • Oversees overall pour & labor cost for the department. 
  • Writes and manages the schedule for the bartenders, baristas, & cocktail servers. 
  • Effectively communicates with the senior management team via written and verbal means to keep them apprised of the beverage operations.
  • Ensures systems for proper weekly ordering are in place. 
    • Manages inventory levels and makes adjustments to pars as needed
  • Knowledgeable about all the wines, spirits, beers and cocktails on the menu: including taste, manufacturing process, price point, and sustainability practices. 
  • Maintains good working relationships with liquor representatives. 
  • Ensures that the bar, walk-in, and dry storage is clean and organized
  • Ensures that the bar is in good rapport and consistently clean.
  • Schedules routine maintenance for all bar equipment.


  • Experienced team leader
    • Minimum 7-10 years of bar management experience
    • Managed teams of 25 or more
    • Proven trainer in bar and coffee processes
    • Able to write schedules appropriate to forecasted sales volume
  • Process oriented
    • Has developed systems & processes in previous positions to help improve operational efficiency
    • Fluent in P&L reporting, able to translate financial information into actionable goals to drive profitability
  • Creativity
    • Has curated creative menus that are relevant in craft & quality
    • Ability to use logical reasoning to solve problems
  • Technologically Savvy
    • Familiarity with POS operations and back end set up
    • Experience with google suite
    • Comfortable using and posting on social media platforms, specifically instagram

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $80,000.00)
