Stay Cafe is a new community-focused concept coming to Logan Square this Fall. We are looking for observant, efficient and reliable team members who can work with other staff members to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities for Busser:
- Ensure all product and supplies are stocked and stations are set up according to guidelines
- Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
- Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
- Clean and reset tables, counters and other seated areas after guests leave
- Assist staff in running food
- Maintain health and safety regulations at all bar and dining areas
Essential Duties & Responsibilities for Food Runner:
- Complete knowledge of the food menu
- Deliver food items accurately and in a timely manner to ensure optimum food temperature when it reaches the guests
- Communicate with team regarding guests’ requests/needs
- Maintain par levels of condiments, garnishes and other related items
- Review each receipt to ensure order has been prepared accurately and to restaurant and guest satisfaction
- Physical Demands and Work Environment**
- Ability to move or handle equipment throughout the restaurant (generally between 0-50 lbs.)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as the dictates. Weekends and nights will be required.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
