Job Details

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Captain, minimum 5 years of experience as Captain in a 2 or 3 Michelin stablishments, who has personal love of and commitment to world-class hospitality is a must. You should have strong fine dining experience and be accustomed to providing detail-oriented service in a demanding and busy restaurant setting.

The Captain is responsible for serving guests in a warm, accommodating, and professional manner to ensure total guest satisfaction. They oversee a specific station and are always present on the floor making sure that service runs smoothly.

You will be responsible for guiding and enhancing service from the initial greet through the guests’ departure, ensuring a thoughtful and engaged service and willingness for guests’ return. You will also be tasked with leading your team through a detail-focused service and being calm in high-pressure situations. Your commitment to company standards and values is a must. 

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Self-motivated and a desire to learn and grow within the organization
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong sense of reliability
• Passionate and committed for the art of hospitality
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and strong work ethic
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and being respectful
• Previous experience working in 2 or 3 Michelin starred establishment
• Knowledge and passion for wine, beer, coffee, tea, and cocktails
• Cheese knowledge 
• Understanding of classic food, wine service, pairings, and service ware
• Have full schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
• French and Italian languages is a plus
