Anfora is a natural wine and craft cocktail bar in the West Village area of Manhattan offering snacks, small plates, along with artisanal meats and cheeses. We are a small, passionate team with a very friendly and collaborative work environment.
We are looking for a full time line cook to join our family that is passionate, honest, organized and dedicated.
Some of the requirements for the position:
- Knows health department regulations (or obtain certification within 90 days of employment)
- Can work weekends
- Legal to work in the US
- Is a team player
- Good communication skills
- Clean and organized work habits
- Can work independently
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($19.00 - $22.00) plus tips
Estimated Weekly Tips: $100

This stylish bar and lounge opened in May of 2010. The name is a reference to the clay vessels (Amphorae) used to store and transport wine in ancient Greece and Rome. There is a resurgence of anfora aging among some winemakers, and the list features great examples of these wines.
Anfora also has a terrific beer selection, a full liquor bar, house cocktails, and a menu of flavorful bar snacks, salads, sandwiches, charcuterie and cheeses.
