Root Down is seeking Host candidates. We are looking for energetic, experienced & talented people to join us in our busy, challenging, and successful restaurants. Candidates must have a passion for hospitality & teamwork.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES OPEN AVAILABILITY ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
Applicants should have some experience in the hospitality industry or customer service/relations, and a background in Open Table is strongly preferred.
Our host staff are the first experience that our guests have when they walk in the door, so an ability and desire to operate at the very front of our hospitality culture is absolutely required
Other requirements:
- Open availability including weeknights
- THIS POSITION REQUIRES OPEN AVAILABILITY ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle a busy, high volume working environment
- Awareness and belief in strong health and cleanliness practices is a must
Starting Wage: $15.87/hour + Tips.
Current Average Hourly Pay with tips: $22-26
All Hosts receive a percentage of all tips received at the restaurant. Each Host's percentage of tips will increase over time as their work history and skill set progresses.
