Sofra is a fast-casual cafe and bakery inspired by the flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean. We offer sweet, savory, and contemporary interpretations of traditional cuisines of Turkey, Lebanon, and Greece. Sofra is a fast-paced environment that focuses on giving guests the best possible experience in a small and welcoming space.
Sofra is hiring full-time front-of-house staff and is searching for candidates who are passionate about food and hospitality. We are interested in meeting folks who want to join a warm and supportive work environment, those who work well with others and have a positive attitude!
We will teach you how to do the following:
• Understand and explain our menu to guests
• Exude excellence through hospitality towards guests and the Sofra team
• Use our Toast POS system
• Take food orders
• Expedite food orders
• Make house-made beverages and espresso drinks
• Clean, sanitize, and keep the cafe area neat and inviting
An ideal candidate should possess the following:
• Reliable work history
• Experience in foodservice, this is preferred but we are willing to train if you are eager to learn
• Attentiveness, and attention to detail
• Enjoyment in teamwork and assisting guests with ordering
• Good work ethic
• Eagerness to learn more about Middle Eastern cuisine
