Chef De Cuisine

As CDC you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the culinary operations. We are

looking for someone who knows the importance of quality, has a real depth of knowledge and understanding

when it comes to flavor profiles and ingredients but who is also inspired to continue to keep learning.


  • Directing and managing all food service & preparation activities and most importantly upholding the high-quality standards.
  • Developing and documenting standard recipes for menu items.
  • Management of ordering including – food, supplies, equipment, and all other related items.
  • Management of kitchen hygiene standards and complying with all applicable policies and rules relating to sanitation and health regulations.

Leadership & Staff Management:

  • Managing all staffing activities, including daily assignment of the kitchen by training, and managing the culinary team to use best practices for food preparation, production, and presentation.
  • Scheduling and coordinating the weekly schedule.
  • Plans and executes daily and weekly team meetings.
  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate staffing levels in the kitchen, new employee training and also progress updates and performance reviews
  • Set the standards and always lead by example to create a team atmosphere which is lively and casual but always working efficiently and professionally.

Financial Performance:

  • Responsible for delivering food & labor targets with a consistent focus on margin improvement.
  • Develops strategies aimed at increasing efficiencies and profit margins


  • Must have a natural nuance with food, a sophisticated palette, and an excellent knowledge of wide variety of food processes and cuisines.
  • Great time management, communication and leadership skill.
  • Very capable in leading a team and delegating tasks to appropriate staff members in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to bring out the best in your team members.
  • Ability to work extremely well under pressure and problem solve with the best of them.
  • In depth knowledge of kitchen equipment and processes, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Certification and Experience:

  • Candidate must have 3+ years’ experience in a high-level kitchen management position
  • Texas food handlers’ certificate
  • High volume experience is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and online supplier ordering systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Culinary degree highly preferred
