BLACKBARN is an American restaurant and the creation of Chef John Doherty, former Executive Chef of New York’s Waldorf-Astoria. Our “Modern Barn” is located at the north end of Madison Square Park in NYC’s Nomad neighborhood. Known for our unique and delicious food, spacious dining rooms and lively brunches, we offer a progressive and diverse work environment built on trust, teamwork and camaraderie. Server Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Full food and beverage knowledge and ability to relay to guests
• Works calmly and efficiently under pressure
• Proven ability to manage a full section at a busy restaurant
• Creates memorable guest experiences with warm hospitality
• Demonstrates highly organized work habits and adaptability
• Communicates clearly and respectfully with everyone on every level
• Looks for ways to help others and makes a positive impact on the operation
• Finds things to do when there is “nothing to do”
• Maintains proper sanitation and safety procedures
