Job Details
We are seeking a experienced Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef to join one of our clients restaurants in the Silver Lake area. This is a full-time position that supports a well-known, experienced Chef.

Requirements:
• At least 3 years’ experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen, at least 1 year in managerial or supervisory role.
• Ability to multitask and keep composure in fast paced environment.
• Proven ability to train and develop a team.
• Proven ability of maintaining food safety and sanitation.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of POS system and computer programs; word, excel, emailing.
• Must have Food Protection Certificate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English.

Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate a passion and commitment for exceptional service by measuring service standards daily and leading our team to be the best!
• Ensure that our product quality is outstanding and that our recipes are followed and work closely with Executive Chef to update any changes.
• Able to execute the administrative functions supporting the day-to-day operations, such as: ordering, receiving, inventory, food safety, and cleanliness.
• Daily 5 step review of recipes to maintain BOH training, development and uphold standards.
• Manage daily production, preparation, and presentation of all food for the restaurant, to ensure a quality consistent product.
• Ensure proper food safety and sanitation tools are completed accurately and on schedule by using daily line and walk through checklists.
• Role Models effective efficient and positive communication to Management, BOH staff, and FOH staff to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate recipe manuals for both prepped items and finished plates. Communicates and partners with the Executive Chef on any recipes which need to be updated.
