Award-winning cupcake bakery looking to hire a full/part time pastry chef to assist with the daily production of pastry fillings, cake batters, frostings, cookies and more.
Early Morning Pastry Chef should be:
- Available for a part-time position or 5 days a week, shifts from (approx.) 6am-Noon
- Able to work weekends is a must (Saturday & Sunday), with availability to pick up extra shifts during weekdays. We are open 7 days a week and most holidays
- Food Handler’s License a plus
- Be able to handle high pressure and volume
- Be professional, responsible, reliable, clean & organized
- Must be able to communicate with coworkers and kitchen leadership in a professional and respectful manner
- 2+ years’ experience in a café/bakery/restaurant with a focus on pastry fillings is a plus .
- General knowledge of cooking techniques and equipment (stove, ovens, mixers, etc)
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Hourly based on skill
