Job Details
Thank you for your interest in joining our team here at PERILLA korean american fare. Please be sure to read through this job listing in it's entirety in order to be considered for the position. We are currently seeking FOH staff members to join our team. We encourage and train teammates to grow and develop skills in each position of the FOH team as we move toward a new direction of a teamwork driven performance in the service industry.

Restaurant Information:
•Michelin Bib Gourmand 2021 and 2022 Recipient
•We have a positive, teamwork driven work environment with dedicated leaders who are present and working hands on with the team

•We are open for 5 dinner services Wednesday through Sunday night
•We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays for service and all major holidays
•Dinner shifts begin at 3:30PM and service begins at 5:00PM
•We are easily accessible by the CTA Blue Line or on 56 Milwaukee bus route


Compensation Information:
Paychecks are provided every week on Thursday
We offer direct deposit through ADP


Position Information:
Each individual will be required to learn each of the roles in the FOH team and rotate through each position throughout the week
•You will be trained on RESY for Host responsibilities
•You will be trained on Toast POS for Serving responsibilities

Benefits Information:
We offer health insurance for full time employees after 90 days
•You will be provided with daily staff meal and employee discounts for dining and take out
•We are constantly offering in-house education such as beverage tastings and are looking for teammates seeking growth and more opportunitiese with the team
We offer Paid Sick Leave based on accured hours with 12 hours of carryover from year to year

About us:
Our restaurant, PERILLA, is named after a plant native to Korea and many east asian countries. It is known to be very adaptable and grows vigorously on any soil. The name is an homage to our parents who are first generation immigrants that traveled to foreign land and rooted themselves on new soil. Our food is centered around a communal dining experience. Inspired by Korean flavors and ingredients, we offer our approach on many traditional classics, Korean BBQ, and modern Korean dishes paired alongside new and exciting takes created by Chef Andrew Lim to represent the second generation of Korean Americans and the food we love to enjoy and share.
