Job Description

We are looking for experienced Line Cooks to help grow our culinary team as we expand breakfast, lunch, prepared food, dinner and catering menus in our Buckhead restaurant & market. We are looking for accomplished cooks with the highest standard of simple, delicious, and aesthetically pleasing food. Candidates will join the core Le Bon Nosh team that is guided by the principles of simplicity, community, and hospitality. Employee package includes:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
  • Preparing food including cleaning and cutting ingredients and cooking a variety of dishes
  • Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
  • Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
  • Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing equipment at the end of shifts
  • Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety and quality standards and regulations
  • Focus on time management, ensuring that food is delivered on time
  • Assist with visually inspecting the kitchen and taking action to ensure the restaurant is clean and organized and all equipment is in working order
  • Drive atmosphere of kitchen cleanliness and safety where high standards of professionalism are being followed by all team members
  • Assist other team members and work collaboratively at all times

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Must have extensive knowledge of food preparation and be able to prepare a wide variety of meals and dishes on time and with a high level of quality and presentation
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Dedicated to cultivating customer excellence and a hospitality-driven culture
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, bias toward action, and high degree of personal accountability
  • Collaborates effectively in a team environment and is willing to pitch in no matter the task; believes we are most likely to succeed when we work together as a team
  • Strong interest and willingness to participate in Le Bon Nosh’s sustainable practices and community outreach programs

 

Certificates & Licenses

  • Formal culinary training or degree in Culinary Arts preferred. Several years of prior culinary experience preferred.
  • Must be ServSafe certified and uphold all ServSafe guidelines.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $21.00)
