Join the Party! Opening in April 2022, Happy Monkey is a dynamic restaurant located in Greenwich, Connecticut. Jean-Georges’ culinary vision has redefined industry standards and revolutionized the way we eat. Jean-Georges has developed several concepts in collaboration with a number of partners, all of whom share his desire to be the purveyor of tasteful, elegant and sophisticated experiences.

 

Happy Monkey has partnered with Michelin starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten to create a freestanding independent restaurant and is seeking Back of the House Staff.

We are looking for individuals who want to grow within the hospitality industry. Because joining us opens the doors to growth within an organization of over 40 restaurants worldwide!

 

Responsibilities (these are not all-inclusive):

  • Demonstrate and promote the JG culture, always positively representing the Company.
  • Embrace teamwork within the restaurant, creating a positive work environment.
  • Properly execute all recipes.
  • Execute food production and plating, according to stated spec and timing.
  • Maintain a clean, clutter free and organized station at all times.

 

Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree preferred, with 1 year of fine dining work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have strong sense of urgency.
  • Must be a team player and have strong communication skills.
  • FULL AVAILABILITY- Willing to work a flexible schedule and holidays.
