Job Details
We are looking for a cook who will embrace working in Virginia on our on-farm restaurant, working in our award winning restaurant - using ingredients we source from our farm and locally.  Must have a great palate and experience developing dishes.  As our menus change often, the ideal candidate must be willing to be creative and to adapt to new dishes frequently.
Chef de Cuisine manages all food preparation.  A key position that sets the tone for the entire culinary team.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with entire staff.
Maintain the overall food quality ensuring guest satisfaction as the highest priority.
Experience is required.  We would like a one-day stage.
Must have excellent communications skills.
Must be efficient in problem solving.
Must be creative and able and willing to multitask.
Must have high safety and hygiene practices.
Must be willing to embrace the farm concept.
Patowmack Farm is an organic farm located near the small town of Lovettsville, VA.  The on farm restaurant specializes in progressive local cuisine.  We grow our own produce, forage our acres of land for wild food and support local producers.
