Seasoned Hospitality Strategy and Management is looking for qualified candidates for culinary positions at our North and South Fork Properties on the East End of Long Island.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a "Guest First" atmosphere in the kitchen to support the service team.
  • Provide coverage or assistasnce to all stations as needed.
  • Assist in the planning and development of recipes and ensure the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration.
  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, mentor, and discipline all Team Members to ensure that established standards are met.
  • Implement, observe, and fine-tune systems and procedures.
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing decisions and inventory control.
  • Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the facility and its equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards throughout the facility in compliance with SCDOH standards.
  • Maintain a safe environment for all Team Members.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of culinary / food and beverage line position in a high-volume restaurant
  • Excellent knife skills, plating techniques, and attention to detail
  • Suffolk County Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Lift and carry 30+ pounds
  • Ability to work long hours standing, shifts will last up to 10 to 12 hours
  • Flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays
