State Bird Provisions is seeking a Sous Chef! 


Essential job requirements and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


- Communicating directly and working concurrently with the Executive Chef, Chef/Owners & dining room management

- Responsible for direct management of all line cooks, prep cooks & dishwashers

- Clear communication skills and teamwork are essential 

- Assisting with ordering, menu writing, inventory and par maintenance

- Managing quality of ingredients, recipes, and dish execution, holding everyone to the highest standards

- A passion for food, education, and professional development

- A genuine sense of hospitality and desire to interact with our guests

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail

- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and remain calm under pressure, in a high volume, fast paced environment

- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Maintain efficient, clean, and safe work practices

- Represent the culture of SBP - be an ambassador for the team, and our restaurant group!
