Tavern on the Green is looking for a Beverage Director to join our team!
The Beverage Director position for Tavern on the Green is a management role responsible for the overall quality of service and for maintaining the wine and beverage program of the restaurant. Prospective candidates should be passionate in all areas of service, knowledgeable in world cuisine and an expert in international wine and beverage. Sommelier training or degree is preferred, but not required.
The Beverage Director will assist the GM in ensuring the profitability of the restaurant by helping control beverage cost, training staff, and maintaining direct contact with guests selling wines and beverages. They will order alcoholic beverages as needed, maintain the beverage storeroom, and verify all alcoholic beverage delivery invoices.
