Plantin I Kaviari is a wholesale distributor of Caviar & Truffles. We provide Caviar & Truffle products to fine dining establishment: hotels, restaurants, gourmet boutiques, private chefs & retail in NYC and across the U.S.We are a leading importer and distributor of Caviar & Truffle products. From our warehouse in Manhattan, we serve chefs and manufacturers directly in the New York-city area, and throughout the United States.
We are hiring sales associates in the New York City area. Our sales team members handle new and existing accounts, informing chefs and purchasers about our products while providing sales service & client support. We are looking for people who are self-motivated, driven, and team players. Willing to learn and adapt to new systems and obtain detailed knowledge to educate our customers on the products we offer.
This is a full-time salaried position between based on experience with benefits such as monthly target-based commission, annual bonus, paid commuter pass with contribution towards personal health insurance & paid time off. On-the-job training provided during a 3-month trial period.
1-2 years of restaurant and/or food service industry experience is required. Sales experience preferred. We also hire chefs and cooks, or restaurant employees interested in making a transition. This position is a great way to get immersed in the luxury food service & distribution.
