One Michelin-starred restaurant, Kochi, located in Hell's Kitchen. We are looking to hire a passionate and experienced manager who wants to grow together in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate should be an individual who has exceptional knowledge of food & beverage and of standards of service particularly in fine dining restaurants. Knowledge of korean food and in-depth beverage knowledge would be a plus. We are looking for an individual who can professionally work with the chef, and lead the front of the house team and meld the two into one enthusiastic team. We are looking to grow internally, as we are planning to expand with different concepts and ideas.Primary Duty
- Oversee daily operations- Ensure satisfaction of all guests- Hire and train restaurant staff to comply with company policies- Organize and keep track of employees’ schedule & hours of work, and record payroll data- Order supplies while staying within budget limitationsRequirements- At least 2 years of experience in a management position in hospitality- Knowledge of standard fining dining standards of service as well as knowledge of various food and beverage- Knowledge of traditional and cultural korean food & beverage would be a plus- Proficient knowledge of POS systems preferably Toast, and restaurant management software- Positive attitude and good team building skills - Professionalism to problem-solve, maintain, and improve upon existing systemsInterested applicants, please e-mail your resume and cover letter discussing your culinary and management philosophies.Kochi is an equal opportunity employer.
