Bari is hiring Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our team!!! We are seeking someone with a passion for Italian food and culture. The candidate should be eager to learn and grow with us.

Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen work surfaces clean and sanitized
• Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and ending of shifts
• Wash cookware, utensils and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation
• Arrange equipment and ingredient deliveries
• Keep the food and supply storage areas organized
• Gather and take out the garbage
• Help with routine food prep tasks (such as peeling and chopping vegetables) when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years experience assisting in commercial kitchen environments
• Working knowledge of food health and safety regulations
• The ability to work as part of a team
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to stand for extended periods
• Excellent time management skills
• Effective communication skills

Work Environment

This job operates in a kitchen environment, housed with equipment such as an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, steamer, mixer and chef’s knives. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise.
