TITLE: HOURLY SHIFT SUPERVISOR
REPORTS TO: General Manager
FLSA STATUS: Exempt

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Hourly Shift Supervisor (SPVR) is responsible and accountable for all restaurant operational processes and assumes complete responsibility for the restaurant while running their shift. The
SPVR works to ensure that all activities are consistent with and supportive of the restaurant’s standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
 Demonstrates Epic Burger’s Team Values and Stakeholder Mindset.
 Embrace and hold team to Moments of Deliciousness standards.
 Responsible of opening and closing of restaurant.
 Comply with company cash handling policy. Including preparing deposits.
 Contribute and manage all 3 components to Gross Margin. (Building sales, managing labor, and controlling COGs)
 Follow all company training procedures and systems.
 Takes accurate inventory of food items and supplies. Place orders if needed.
 Model and create an environment in which the customer is always right; ensures a positive customer service experience by modeling the EPIC Service model:

 Able to discuss Epic Burger history and what sets Epic Burger a part from other burger places. Explain to new customers and teach and coach employees.

 Enforce all of Epic Burger’s policies and standard operating procedures.
 Comply with established food safety requirements and practices.
 Comply with all store security and safety standards.
 Effectively handle customer complaints/issues.
 When needed, assist in covering shifts in neighboring Epic Burger stores.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
 Must be friendly and hospitality-oriented.
 Strong verbal communication skills.
 Must possess neat and clean hygiene.
 Ability to handle kitchen equipment confidently.
 Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency.
 Ability to work as a team-player.
 Ability to stand/walk a minimum of 8 hours or as needed.
 Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently.
 Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music, customer and employee traffic.
 Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, & soy.
 Must have at least 1-2 years of Fast Casual Leadership experience.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
 Starting pay range: $16/ hour.
 Tip potential
 Paid Time Off (PTO): Earns 5 PTO days after each year in position.
 Eligible to participate in company’s standard health insurance & benefits plan.
