Evening Star Café is looking for a hard working Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team!
The Evening Star opened in 1997 in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria and quickly became an essential gathering place for the community. Over the last 24 years the restaurant has evolved and expanded to include a wine shop; an additional bar for live music, games, and private events; an expansive outdoor patio called the Front Porch; and a rooftop garden created in partnership with Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food & Agriculture (more on that below) that provides much of the seasonal produce featured on the menu. The menu highlights the best of regional and hyperlocal ingredients grown on the roof of the building. Tom Sietsema of The Washington Post included Evening Star on his list of favorite places to eat for two consecutive months in 2019.
