o ya is hiring a sushi chef apprentice. 
This is a unique opportunity to join James Beard award-winner Chef Tim Cushman and his small team of dedicated chefs at their flagship contemporary Japanese restaurant in Boston.
o ya is hiring motivated and humble professional cooks who are eager to learn the art of sushi from our cadre of talented chefs. Candidates must be serious about career and food, ego-free, dependable and have a consistent genuinely positive attitude. An ideal team member is precise, extremely organized and takes direction well. Refined food preparation and 2 years of fine-dining line experience is preferred, though not required. This is a position that combines the exacting science of fish fabrication and sushi preparation with the elegance and speed of fine-dining service. Advanced knife skills and cleanliness will be required.
Position is full time; o ya is open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner service only.
