Please Bring Chips (PBC), a growing catering company in Washington, D.C., is looking for a full-time Project Coordinator.
PBC got its start as a bunch of friends supporting pop-up art events. The company has since grown to become a caterer specializing in pop-up activations and festivals. Our team has been fortunate enough to work venues ranging from mud pits to Smithsonian galleries, and served events ranging from 10 to 50,000 attendees. We aim to become THE caterer that supports D.C.’s most engaging cultural events. We are looking for someone amazing to join the family and help us grow.
The Project Coordinator’s (PC) main responsibility is to execute events. Duties will include:
- working with the Director of Operations to plan and execute events
- managing day-of event logistics
- managing team members
- updating proposals and invoices
- maintaining records of events
- interfacing with clients, vendors and attendees
The PC reports directly to the Director of Operations (DO).
The position expects at least 40-hours a week, for one year. The position requires mostly nights and weekends, in addition to daytime hours, as necessary. Additionally, the position will require maintaining an ABRA Manager’s license.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in bars, restaurants, event planning and/or catering, who are interested in helping build the business and the role.
