The Red Fox Inn & Tavern is Middleburg's boutique inn with 22 guest rooms, suites and cottages, both a tavern and a pub featuring southern fare in a historic setting, and a landmark venue offering bespoke weddings and social events.

Kitchen Duties
- Assist the Kitchen Manager with the management of food operations for the establishment including menu offerings, purchasing, cost control, daily sales, preparation, storage, service and inventory control.
- Assist with the development and rotation of menu items and daily food specials.
- Check-in food orders to ensure products have arrived in fresh state and to proper specifications. Ensure modifications are noted including, but not limited to: product price changes, last minute product change, missing or extra product.
- Assist the Kitchen Manager with walk-in, freezer and kitchen storage and organization
- Directly supervise BOH staff including hot line cooks, cold line cooks, expediters and dishwashers according to RFI&T standards and policies.
- During service, actively monitor your station to ensure communication and smooth operation and that all dishes are prepared and garnished to set standards and are served in a timely manner.
- Communicate with the expediter station during service to ensure the efficient flow of orders from FOH to the kitchen, ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority and make sure all food is prepared and garnished to menu specifications.
- Ensure all guests are given exceptional service that follows the RFI&T service standards and resolve any problems that arise in a courteous and timely fashion.
- After service, break down the kitchen according to set standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- be 21 years of age
- 1 year of kitchen experience or a culinary degree
- must be able to work at least 4 shifts per week
- all employees are required to work nights, weekends, & holidays
