Leroy's is a newly opened neighborhood bistro & cocktail bar. The Chef/Owners backgrounds include Ai Fiori, Batard, Marc Forgione, Picholine, Khe-Yo and a first venture Chez Nick located on the Upper East Side. This will be a chef led restaurant with a focus on fun, innovative food built for sharing. The team will be cooking New American Cuisine, inspired by classic New York staples and touches from the American South the menu will focus on small plates with an emphasis on seafood. The cocktail program is ever expanding and Leroys is searching for candidates with a strong desire to grow in their career and continue learning.
Full service Restaurant in Greenpoint is looking to fill a bartender position.
Ideal candidates have strong work ethics, varied experience and a passion to deliver great products with exceptional service.
About the job
- Have at least 2 years serving experience
- Have a love and passion for the hospitality industry.
- Positive, friendly attitude is a must.
- Provide hospitable and customized service to each of our guests
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Team player
- Must be available to work weekends, weekdays and holidays
- Must have a positive attitude and work well in fast paced environments
- Basic knowledge of spirits, wine and beer
- Desire to learn and grow in all experiences
- Able to stand, walk, and/or sit for long periods of time and have the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Knowledgeable about spirits and comfortable preparing a cocktail and explaining its ingredients
- Skilled in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
