Job Details
DMK, a rapidly growing hospitality restaurant company with iconic, award-winning brands in Chicago, Las Vegas, Washington, DC, and New York, is looking for a bright, empathic, team member to join the team at Lafolia.  DMK is owned by David Morton of the Morton's Steakhouse family and boasts a roster of award-winning chefs and a one-of-kind culture rooted in personal and professional development.  
 
Lafolia is DMK's second restaurant in NYC. It is housed in a brand new, beautifully desgined building in midtown east. Operating M-F, this new project aims to provide a celebration of thoughtfully sourced ingredients. With the learship team focused on creating a healthy, efficient, and fun working environment, we are looking for team members who are interested in activley participating in their own growth and the growth of our new venture. 

Calling all those, with a keen eye and appreciation for sourcing. DMK will partner with the regions top farms and purchase intentionally from GrowNYC farmers markets. The restaurant will exhibit a strong dedication to amazing purveyors, sustainable fisheries, strong animal husbandry, and the foods that delight us with stories. 

Other requirements: 
-1 year cooking experience preffered, however curiosity and a willingness to learn essential. 
-energetic, self aware, team oriented humans 
-knife skills, general kitchen knowledge 
-track record for ownership/ going aboive and beyond responsibilities to ensure the success of the team.
-comes to work ready to go with your tool kit & non slip shoes.

Physcial Requirements: 
- must be alble to stand for extended periods of time, working in the ktichen environment. 
-must be able safely lift 50#
