Opening July 2022, Andra Hem is a new cocktail lounge in the Rittenhouse neighborhood in a townhouse setting. The Scandinavian design leverages craftsmanship and contemporary design. The craft cocktail “experience” and locally sourced food is completely unique and the second floor private level is an incredible place for small events / private parties. The new team will have an opportunity to help build the brand with ownership, and find work-life balance.
This is a small business/ start-up and we are seeking someone with at least five years of fine dining experience to help co-manage the business. Opening experience helpful. A perfect candidate would possess kitchen experience. This leadership role will be split with another co-manager to get both co-managers into the 40-50 hour per week work level rather than 80-90 hours that you normally see in this role. Leader must also be willing to do everything due to the small size of the team and the restaurant, everyone will have to pitch in. This is a small craft business and it must be attractive to you to have a big influence on decisions, but also contribute to the work load in a big way. This will include management calls with ownership, greeting guests, and booking events upstairs, but could also include jumping in to wash glasses or plate food if the bar or kitchen is backed up. We want someone who recognizes how a small restaurant operates and has experience running a small restaurant so that they are realistic about this role.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in hospitality kitchen and bar experience, running a small restaurant
- Background behind the bar or with cocktail service/ management or civic or social club experience
- ServSafe Food Safety Certification, RAMP required
- Ability to read financial reports
Job Type: Full-time- estimated 40 -50 hours (managed with a co-manager with mainly opposite shifts)
Pay: $75,000 per year
