Who We Are
We are a new concept located in the iconic Reading Terminal Market and recently featured in Philadelphia Magazine, Philadelphia Inquirer, Foobooz. We will be the first to bring cuisine from the country of Georgian to downtown Philadelphia with a focus on khachapuri (cheese breads & hot breads), khinkali (oversized soup dumplings), Georgian favorites and contemporary twists on Georgian fare. Our shop will feature a pantry to which we hope to add our own brand of sauces, condiments and goodies as well as featured Philadelphia makers and designers. This position offers the opportunity to learn about an exciting cuisine that is new to the US and quickly growing and to help us deliver the famed hospitality that Georgia is known for.

$12-$18 Per Hour (After Tip Share) Based on Experience

Job Description
o the cashier takes orders for dine-in and to go
o operates cash register/pos system
o efficient in handling cash and credit card transaction
o ensures accuracy of cash drops
o serves guest with their food and drink orders served either dine in or to-go
o keeps orderly station in front of house operation before during and after service
o welcomes guest with positive attitude
o ability to lift up to 50 pounds
o ability to stand/walk/bend up to 8 hour shift
o performs other duties as required by General Manager/Chef/Owners
o welcoming and helpful to guest and team members
o complies with restaurant policies/ Health/Safety/Sanitation Standards
Qualifications
18 years or older
1 year plus experience in fast paced food service environment
A plus if you are passionate about hospitality
Great customer service skills
Worked with pos systems
Outstanding communication skills
Motivated self-starter
High school diploma preferred
Serve/Safe certification a plus
