Essential Job Function
Sets and maintain all function rooms/areas, service corridors, storerooms and equipment in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards and local regulations.


Responsibilities

• Have working knowledge of restaurant’s food and beverage preparation
• Efficient and correct set up of tables, chairs, platforms/stages and other equipment as specified by group requirements
• Check and properly adjust temperature and lights; and electrical hook-ups for proper working order and tape down all exposed cords
• Provide audio visual assistance including set up, instruct in proper equipment use, take down and secure storage of equipment
• Pick-up and deliver boxes/materials for functions as needed
• Service/freshen function rooms during breaks
• Break down of tables, chairs, platforms/stages and other equipment
• Return all unused equipment in clean condition to proper storage area
• Perform deep cleaning of function areas as assigned
• Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform; well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential
• Collaborating and providing support to the service staff in a professional manner
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client
• Keep function and equipment storage clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department
• Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at all times

Experience

• High school diploma
• 2+ years’ experience working in banquets or event venues, hotel experience preferred
• High level of reliability
• Flexible schedule required
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift
