Léon, a new year-round open hearth Mediterranean restaurant on Shelter Island, is hiring a Head Baker to join our culinary leadership team.

The Head Baker will work with the culinary team to develop the vision and long-term goals for the restaurant's bread program including research, development, and production.

While performing the duties of the job, the Head Baker is regularly required to stand and walk; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. They must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasioanally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
