The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of floor service.
You will conduct a daily line up meeting with staff to motivate the team and communicate staff focus for the shift to achieve KPI goals set.
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of financials to meet set KPIs and budgets, encourageing staff sales ability.
Build relationships with regular guests and aim to expand this client base through social media & word or mouth promoting the restaaurant within brand guidelines.
In order to succeed as a shift leader, you should be observant and have the ability to think critically and efficiently, and anticipate guest and staff needs. You should be a skilled communicator with excellent problem solving, observation, and interpersonal skills.
Floor Manager Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily line up meeting communicating daily specials, changes and team focus
- Conduct bi-monthly trainings for floor staff on food, sales techniques and cordinate with bar manager for beerage training.
- Creating effective schedules and quickly resolving conflicts to ensure that bar is well staffed during peak hours.
- Manage set up & close down systems including cash out & lock up of restaurant.
- Planning and implementing promotional events for regular guests and local clientele.
- Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for staff & guests alike.
- Social media accounts for the restaurant including instagram & facebook.
- Update POS with any chaanges as required
- Asthetics, cleanliness of the space during service.
Floor Manager Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Restaurant or management experience or more education is generally preferred.
- Strong understanding of business management and accounting principles.
- Excellent computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts.
- Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources.
- Decisiveness.
- Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Min $1000 per week.

All staff are required to wear a mask at all times when in the restaurant. Customers are required to wear a mask when standing or using the restroom. All customers are required to order food to be served alcohol according to CT government mandate.
