Union Square Events is looking for a Server to join their growing team!

This is a 6-month commitment, 5 nights a week during the length of the show (an immersive culinary journey that will be an unforgettable experience of delightful dining and sophisticated theatre). There might be opportunities to join our on-call team after its end.

Who you are: the Server is an hourly team member who delivers thorough and thoughtful hospitality and service in a variety of environments exclusively at one of New York City's premier Hotels. They nurture positive team and guest interactions, exceeding client expectations. A Server must have great communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a knowledgeable passion for food and beverage service. The ability to interact with staff, clients, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, efficient, and reliable is crucial to this role. The ideal candidate exudes a high level of professionalism and hospitality expertise at all times.

What you’ll do:

• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner, bringing hospitality to every interaction
• Read, understand and execute Event Orders
• Follow checklists and Standard Operating Procedures
• Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing duties complying with Union Square Events' operational standards
• Adhere to company uniform and grooming standards at all times
• Perform any related duties as requested by the supervisor/manager
• Assist other team members and hotel partner employees when needed

What we need from you:

• Catering/Bartender/Fine-Dining experience is preferred; service and hospitality-oriented attitude a must
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, and interest in learning new skills
• Ability to adjust or move objects up to 40 pounds in all directions
• The capability of maintaining a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods
• English Fluency, Spanish knowledge is a plus
