Job Details

As an ingrained sous chef you will have an exciting, fast-paced and rewarding role on our small team. Your responsibilities are essential for assisting the lead creative and founder/owner, Sydney, in keeping up with item production and maintaining a company culture of adding unique, creative and innovative menu offerings on a daily basis (i.e., rotating menu). Our company specializes in vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free snacks that are creative and unique with very health-forward ingredients.  Starting pay for this role is $20+/hour (base pay range of $17-19/hour + $3-4/hour on average via tip pool).

Responsibilities: 

  • Work directly under Sydney’s (founder/owner) supervision, assisting her and our team in keeping up with production of menu items
  • Assist Sydney in identifying, testing, and creating completely new items on a daily basis
  • Prepare packaged items for following day’s product launches (cut, roll, box, tag products, etc.)
  • Maintain an extremely clean storefront; possess ability to work efficiently, quickly, and multi-task
  • Properly execute food safety and food health-code standards
  • Communicate store needs (low inventory of raw ingredients, cleaning supplies, etc.) to the team manager
  • Assist team members in generating sales through being knowledgeable about our brand and all products, being able to speak to the ingredients and their benefits and assisting in matching customers with products that best fit their individual interests

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly (Based on Experience) plus tips

Estimated Weekly Tips: $100
