Position responsibilities
Candidates should be reliable, timely, consistent, organized, a team player, and able to energize and motivate. Prepare recipes during service managing ticket times and listening to the chef/manager on duty.
- Master recipe execution for working station.
- Keep recipes and job aides within the standards of the Bottega Louie brand.
- Follow safety and sanitation practices when executing daily tasks and recipes.
- Keep all product in rotation following FIFO.
- Label all items with correct dates, labels and expiration disposing of any non-quality items.
- Communicate daily with the chef about waste, items running out, freshness issues and substitution items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen when setting up and breaking down the stations.
- Treat all equipment and small wares with care.
- Communicate daily with the chef on any equipment issues or items that will affect the quality of the items produced.
- Demonstrate leadership by displaying job expertise, flexibility, positive attitude, initiative, organization, communication skills and enthusiasm.
- Understand and embody the Bottega Louie Brand.
- KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- You have at least two (2) years of experience in a similar position, ideally in high volume kitchens with technical culinary skills.
- You are a well versed, dedicated, and technical with the ability to effectively manage and execute in a fast-paced culinary environment consistently.
- You exhibit a helpful, supportive communication style and are collaborative within a structured job environment.
- You are comfortable in a training and leadership role that encourages growth for all team members.
- Must have Serve Safe California Food Handlers Certification.
- Must be able to work weekends & holidays.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
